The Zyklos Mixer
The beginnings of the Zyklos business date back to the year 1947 when the first 3-D forced flow mixer was developed. Today, many customers all around the world count on the reliability and efficiency of the Zyklos mixing technology.As a competent partner with a strong background, Zyklos offers tailor-made solutions with the latest developments in engineering and production.
The mixing performance is based on the uniflow system. The eccentrically mounted mixing star rotates synchronously with the mixing pan thus producing high levels of shearing effect and kinetic energy release. Statically mounted mixing tools on the gear arm effect a vertical stirrance within the batch. The wall scraper continuously removes batch residues from the pan wall. Our production program covers mixers with detachable or tillable mixing pan ranging from 30 up to 500 litres working capacities. Mixers of the ZB series with central bottom discharge are available from 150 up to 1500 litres.
